## What the API is for

Public JSON API for course search, scorecards, GPS layers (tees, fairways, bunkers, penalty areas, hole outlines, greens), 3D green slope and elevation, and live lie elevation. Live-golfer use. Not player rankings, not a scoreboard, and not a player-history feed.

For software developers. AI world models = mapped course layers, not generated images.
